Yes I have. She suffers from both a severe hormonal and glandular problem. I feel bad for her. It can't be helped. She's tried everything to get rid of the beard.

Yes, and although very few women let facial hair grow, a large proportion of women have it.
Facial (and also body) hair on women comes about in the same way as on men because of
1) your body being sensitized, before you were even born, to testosterone -- doesn't happen to all girls, but does to many
2) your body producing high levels of testosterone
The growth rate and coarseness of the hair depends on just how much testosterone is circulating in your bloodstream.
As estrogen levels drop from the 30s on, the proportion of women with facial hair increases. After menopause it could be considered normal for women to have a moustache and at 80 there are few women with no beard growth.

oh yeah...well I guess it was more like a really long goatee(sp?). It was like an inch across - completely filled in with hair and it hung to her chest. She worked in the cafeteria checkout of my elementary. I feel bad for her now, because she really got it bad from us little kids. One of my friends is part native american and she has dark hairs under her lip like a mustache. She gets it waxed though. A lot of women grow facial hair when they get older and go through menopause because of all the hormone fluctuations

yes, i have. and also seen one with upper lip hair. sometimes women have a little bit more testosterone than they should have and that causes weird hair growth.
