i mean on my face, not the expiry date of the product.

Don't keep it for more than 2 minutes...soak a cotton ball with astringent and wipe your face especially the nose, forehead and chin area and then use a moisturizer on than in circular motion.

check the date of expiry date. generally the products lasts for
2 yrs

check the expiry date dear. if you didn't see the expiry date or you are not sure of it, just throw it and buy new one.
