I'm considering purchasing this product and I want to hear the opinions of those who have used it before. Does it really work to lengthen and thicken your eyelashes?

It definitely works. I have short lashes and they look incredible after I use this mascara.

Yeah it works!
I use Maybelline products and Maybelline Mascara only. The XXL works real good. At first it will freak you out when you put the setting (white) mascara on, but it really does plump and lengthen your eyelashes when you put the actual mascara on after!
The lady that did our makeup for my sister's wedding used that brand. And our lashes looked absolutely gorgeous in the pictures!

I have used it (actually I currently have it). I have really long lashes to begin with but decided to try it. It does great with my contacts. No irritation or anything. It does work to lengthen and thicken your lashes fairly well. But you have to apply it LIGHTLY or it will clump up. It takes a few seconds to dry which is the only down part I can say about it.

I really didn't like this mascara. It made my lashes look very weird, like tiny needles. It's definitely not for anyone who has thin lashes or not that many eyelashes. Basically, it makes your lashes look fake, but not in a good way. I think the primer isn't a good idea, either. It makes the mascara clump.

For an inexpensive product, I think it works pretty well. Though I think Maybelline's Great Lash formula works a lot better. It's highly recommended by makeup artists.

Yes, it goes work quite well. My eyelashes are short and blonde, and the primer really helps to make them hold the mascara. It really does make them stand out.

i love that mascara.. i've tryed plenty that says it will thicken and lengthen my eye lashes and XXL has been the only one that did it for me. i use it everday for the past 2 years. its my favorite. i love it!

I bought it once and did not like it- it was too gooey and made my lashes stick together. But you can always try it for yourself and if it does not work for you- just return it. If you tell them why (the product does not do what it promises to) they have to take it back. Just make sure to keep a receipt.

well in my situation no i bought it and did not like it at all but everyone has different taste what you like might not be what others like so try for yourself you are the best person to judge what you like not others in my situation what works well is the ultimate mascara by mary kay
