The reason why most woman breakout from makeup is due to the filler bismith oxychloride. I see a lot of people suggest bare minerals, but it is not a completely natural makeup as they believe. Check out the ingredients, and you will see that it contains bismuth oxychloride. Bismith oxychloride is the by-product of lead and copper refining. It is also related to arsenic. I suggest getting a makeup without the chemical and see the difference. Here is some information on bismith oxychloride, which is found it pretty much every makeup line. http://www.selfgrowth.com/articles/Starner1.html

Conventional foundation is made with 90% fillers and 10% color pigment. Fillers such as talc, oil, preservatives, dye and fragrances are the number one cause for breakouts and skin irritations.

I had the same problem with many makeups including bare minerals, as I hear many others have as well. I found another brand called Bella Pierre, and it truly is hypo allergenic and only made of minerals. I purchase mine at http://www.bpcosmetics.com
Bella Pierre can also be purchased at http://www.bellapierre.com but for double the price of what you can get it at http://www.bpcosmetics.com

I use mary kay foundation and face powder and it doesn't give me acne but every person's skin is different, for some people different make up makes them break out. It is different for everyone so asking people won't really do much, you should just try it if you want to, but just on a small part of your face for a couple days to see how you skin reacts to it if you are worried about it causing acne.

Mary Kay is non-comedegenic, so it shouldn't. However, make sure you are using the right make-up for your skin type. I have very oily skin that breaks out VERY easily! When I switch make-up, it takes about a week or two for my skin to adjust. I use the MK medium-coverage liquid foundation. The creme to powder makes me too oily.

Also, make sure you using a good skincare line. If you are washing your face properly, twice a day, with the right stuff then you will have better skin.

If you have break-out prone skin, you might ask your consultant to show you some of the acne and oil control products.

Mary Kay is pore clogging and petroleum based! I wouldnt recommend it... When I was in school to get my cosmetology degree we read about all different makeup lines and their ingredients and/or reviews! Im going to say it its very likely! Mary Kay is not a good line! Give me negative points all you want. We did a scientific experiment with ingredients Mary Kay products contain and I wouldnt put it on my face!

I would think any brand of makeup can cause acne; it all depends what kind of complexion you have and if your skin or oily or not. A good cleaning at night is the key to removing all makeup and helping to stop blemishes. Heredity has more to do with acne than anything else.

Make up DOES NOT causes acne. Acne it's a trouble related with hormones, and it's almost imposible to control it. If you use this make up try to use the foundation only in parts were face needs it (under eyes, check...) and blend it well! Clean the make up and wash your face eyery night (using or not make up)with neutral soap. Then use astringent. It's the only way to keep skin clean, keeping skin clean it's how u can avoid acne! And wash your face with neutral soap twice a day (morning and nigthg)Hope it works 4 ya!!!

Any make up will, it gets into your pores and clogs them. You need to really scrub your face to remove it so it doesn't, but that doesn't always work either. I never wear powders or any colored creams on my face. And I rarely break out.

I tried it once and it was too heavy for my skin, so I say, yes. But that was just me. Now I use mineral makeup.
