Since i was looking for an acting institue, i accidently found MSA. I set an interview with them, and they just called me and accepted me to participate in their ceremony. It's basically a modeling show that participants perform a runway show and the ones who are intrested can take acting exam as well and there are represanttives from top 50 American Magazines(in fashion area) and also some represantatives from some TV shows to pick up talented participants. Do you think there is any possibility that i sign a contract or something with one of those comanies? Is it stupid of me to participate? i love acting. im a theatre girl through and through but i cannot sing. ive never sang in front of an audience, but my voice is shaky all over. i dunno why!!! and it cant go higher than...anything?

well im auditioning for hello dolly in two weeks and it requires a song, even for a non-singing part, just to see how well you are.

i dunno what to do!!! any songs that require no range and no...anything??!!

help. i love acting. i do all shakespeare and everything, but ive never had to audition a song for a non singing part in a musical. my director sed "its no big deal. do whatever you can" but i cant do anything!!!

I want to get like a small acting job then grow on my acting career because I want to be an actress. I live in Madison, Wisconsin. My parents won't let me because
1) my age; they think I'm too young; I don't think so....

2) money; I can't spend a lot because I take private piano and flute lessons

3) I don't see ads loooking for young actresses.

Can you help me look for an acting class for the young or a short little play around my local area? I would appreciate that. Thanks

I want to become an actress? Is it too late for me to act?
I want to become an actress, but I'm already 13 years old, I don't know how to sing, dance, or act, even though I had little acting parts in school plays and I took a few dance classes when I was young. I'm also extremly shy to strangers but sing and act when alone in private.I really want to become an actress (I've always dreamed being one)...but extroversion is not part of my personality. Also I don't have a lot of money to spend on classes because I already am spending money elsewhere. So can someone help me become like one of the thespians (theres a thespians troupe at my school but I don't fit in) and teach me how to become an actress?

Well I interested in becoming an actress.
There is one problem though I have never been in any plays or nothing but I have the talent...

Everyone seems to say that you must go to acting school or have classes in order to become an actress..I am trying to see if that is true...

But I am looking for auditions to attend to get roles in movies, TV shows, etc... Can someone please tell me where I can find auditions for these things or websites that I can visit to get more info... I am really determined to become an actress..

Most internet sites i look at just say to pay for me to look at their casting calls. i want to be famous but i cant, because 1. My age, 14, most auditions want small kids or adults. 2. My size, 5'1'' wont get you into modeling either. and 3. We dont have money to pay some big, rich agent. What can i do to achive my dreams?
