Every year - in addition to regularly staged shows - our group does a couple of play readings (several actors sitting in chairs with their scripts on music stands). We prefer to use a good sized cast (6 or more) - with "big" characters who can be differentiated through their voices. Don't want to do Neil Simon or A. R. Gurney. (they are already in the season) We've done "Beautiful Bodies", "You Can't Take It With You" and "Light up the Sky" and "Lone Star" in the past and they all worked well.

I am an actor, vocalist, and public speaker looking for a chance to use these talents in entertainment and education. I hope to find a product marketing position by day and entertain at night.

Does anyone know a talent agency or web site that is NOT a rip-off?

You can make up the story but the things in Macbeth's Act 2 sc.3 should be happening in the background. You can be a servant even if it is not mentioned in the play.

The narrative is bound to be in first person if not it is reccommended.

i am trying out for annie, the musical we are doing at my high school. we have going through two days of auditions already and call backs are tuesday. on the first day i was so nervous that i couldnt sing to the best of my ability. the second day was better but i was still nervous and couldnt hit the high note in easy street. i got three go's at it and got closer each time. it wasnt until after auditions when i had the husband of the director (who is a friend of mine) play the song again that i was able to hit the note. this was because i was relaxed and not nervous. so it is obviously my nerves that are the problem. i need anything that will help to calm myself down so at call backs i will be able to blow away them away.

I know you should stick to your dream, but sometimes you have to face reality. Most of the actress i know got discover really young. I'm 15 years old and at the rock bottom no experience knowledge or any of that. I know it take me at least 1 and a half to get where i need to be as far as knowledge and skills. Than i have to find a gig. There no telling how long that will take. How much time do i got? Is my dream slipping away? i wish i could have been put in acting school when i was younger
