well im really interested in acting, and i love it alot, but i'm just a regular teen from Cleveland and don't kno where to get started. Another reason I want to do this is because i want to prove to people that i can do it because alot of people don't belive i can do it but honestly, im VERY GOOD. I just want to get noticed even something as small as a commercial will do because producers will see how good i am and then mabye my dream of starring in a movie will come true!

my last name is shadid, but no one can ever pronounce it correctly

i'll get shadid (with the a like in cat), shadeed, shaydeed, and it really is shaded

I'm really considering taking up acting. I acted in high school and was always told I was a good actor. I'm a calm and relatively normal guy; however, I do like to act silly and do strange voices (I break out of my character). I'm a psych major right now and I really would like to get involved in acting, but I don't know where to start. Are acting classes worthwhile? I was also wondering if the "become a model then actor" thing really works, compared to going straight into acting. So should I take some local acting classes or what?
