I'm looking for a bashing-less, completely un-biased answer. Personally, I like Julia Murney best, Shoshana Bean in second.

I've heard Idina a million times, and I've seen both Stephanie Block and Eden Espinosa. I like Stephanie the best. She did an amazing portrayal, really digging deep into Elphie's inner angst. She also has the most unhindered, controlled belt that I have EVER heard. She's got pipes of gold and knows how to use them!!

I saw it with Shoshana Bean, and I thought she did an amazing job. I didn't see Idina Menzel, but I have the recording and I like the way Shoshana Bean did it better. At least the singing. I can't judge the acting for Idina Menzel though.

On 2/14/07, I'm going to be seeing it with Eden Espinosa (who people LOVE!).
I did not like Stephanie J. Block. I really enjoyed Shoshanna, but the original Elphie is probably still my favorite.
