Don't try the picture everyone in their underwear trust me it never works it just makes you even more nevous by looking at. I mean what is the point of that. Find a high place on the backest wall and stare at it the whole time but still show emotion and smile. You won't freeze when you do that. Then do that all the time when you are on stage until you feel that you are comfortable with looking at the audience. It feels great when you feel ready to look at them, and when they are smiling at you like you are doing great that just adds the cherry on th ice cream if you know what i am talking about with my figurative speech there. That is my advice my music teacher gave it to me when I was going to sing (solo) at a recital. I hope I helped you.

There are classes that help you with stage fright but the best way to get over it is to go up on stage more and more. Although i have stage fright my hands goes cold i use to freeze but now my hands still go cold and i panic but just the fact of practicing something over and over again on stage you get the hang of it and then you will be more use to it.

Have more faith in YOU! You have something important to say up on that stage. If just ONE PERSON recognizes or realizes something from your message (be it in a play, public speaking etc) you are a success.
Remember, you are important and what you say may change someones' life for the better!
If just one person reads a poem or reads a book that's all it takes to be a poet or a writer! One listener and one person believing in themselves is a winner!

If you practice in front of people that you know then you will be able to do it in front of strangers. Also if you find a focus when you are on stage away from the audience you will be able to perform on the stage free of fright.

Well. I would look at one spot the whole intire time and pretend its just you. If your singing pretend no one can hear you If youre acting pretend you are actully youre who youre playing the role of. When I get stage fright I burst out laughing. Hope that helps.

Everyone gets nervous.
Even the most experienced ones do.
The only thing you can do is do it everyday, play act in front of your family, it will help.
Try it in a park with some friends helping you play the roll.
It takes lots of practice.
