Why not try writing to the lead actor c/o the Aldwych and ask ? I made a similar request of the cast of a musical some years ago, Miss Saigon, and my wish was granted. Good luck!

Unless you know someone, it is highly unlikely. You can hang out at the stage door, but there is always security. Stage crew and backstage ushers are specifically instructed not to let anyone backstage unless they are on the guest list (not just for security, but also for safety reasons. A dark backstage poses a lot of safety hazards for strangers).

VIPS and Donors are often given tours of the backstage, but only meet the cast if it has been arranged prior to the performance. Performers require, by union law, a minimum of 24 hours notice.

However, if you can find the stage door, have your program in hand and you can ask for autographs as the performers leave - be prepared to wait for a while though, and don't be surprised if you don't see anyone. Usually by the time the audience is just leaving the theatre, most performers are out of costume and well on their way home. And then there are some who can take up to an hour after the performance winding down and getting into their street clothes.

Best of luck!

You need to ring the theatre prior to the show and ask if they are permitting members of the audience to meet the cast backstage - they usually arrange for some people to meet them but not sure if these people are VIP and people who sponsor the theatre etc. Otherwise you will have to go to the stage door and meet them on their way out.

Try waiting backstage after the performance.Usually, the staff are happy to help.If you just wait for autographs then you may have a better chance then simply wanting to meet a particular performer. My son and I went to see a show in DEC ,and waited at stage door because he wanted to meet one of the characters from the cast.Luckily ,he came out and let us have a photo. At the end of the day,if they don like meeting the people who pay their wages, then why not go get a job at McDonald's!!
