Community Theater is a great start for any acting career whether you go on to Broadway.... (most Broadway stars have started out with highschool and community theater.) or just do it for fun.

It depends on the city where you live. Community Theater is a good venue to get experience. Community Theater gives you the opportunity to build an acting resume.
Don't think about a getting an agent. You need a lot of Community and Regional Theatre on your resume, for a good agent to want to represent you.
Agents look for actors that have developed a strong resume of Regional and Community Theatre work.

In my experience, agents tend to be TERRIBLY unimpressed with theatrical credits of any kind. I actually had one say to me once: "So you've done Shakespeare. Shakespeare doesn't cut any ice in THIS town...!"
However, as a would-be actor, you need all the experience you can get. If community theatre is what's available to you, then go for it. If nothing else, the experience will enhance your confidence if and when you're sitting face-to-face with a prospective agent.

You have to start somewhere. Community Theater is as good a place as any. If there are legitimate talent agencies in your city, invite them to your Community Theater performance.

in the event that they reported a head shot then it in all danger does not remember what length the top shot is as long as you have one. As on your resume merely tell them all of the performs you have been in. do not hardship relating to the television/action picture experience.
