I am a serious working actress, but have used lots of different monologues and become bored with them. I have an audition for an arts school coming up and needed a new one.

I've got an audition coming up as well and I've just found this fabulous site full of monlogues. These monlogues are from movies rather than plays so they're a bit more modern than the traditional ones if you want do something a bit different. http://www.whysanity.net/monos/female.html

I'm not sure what you have used in the past, but one that I have used with much success is Christine's Monologue from The Phantom of the Opera, which can also be found in the book by Gaston Leroux
