Don't drink anything with milk the whole day before, and I mean anything, some drink that you wouldn't think it have milk in it. Read the ingredients, most of the FUZE drinks have milk in them, and so does snapple banana, there are probably many others.
Don't drink anything in the 1-2 hours before the audition, the last thing you want is to have to use the bathroom when they call your name.
Most important, try to relax, breath deep. If you are nervous you will not show your full talent, realize that most actors go on hundreds of auditions before they get a part. This is not up to you and there is nothing you can do or improve. The people listening to your audition will have a specific look and sound in mind before they listen to the first person that day, there is nothing you can do or change about yourself. As long as you do a good job you should be satisfied.

What I like to do before an audition is meditate. An hour before I leave I just sit and do my breathing exercises to relax. After wards I work on my vocal exercises. Those require a lot of breathing as well so it will make you relax even more. If you're going to drink something warm, I strongly suggest you avoid anything with lactose. That'll only mess up your voice. If you're 21 or older, you can always take a sip of brandy, whiskey, or wine to warm up your throat if you're that desperate. =D

Warm water mixed with drops of lemon and some honey do the trick. Either that or green tea, but that might note taste as good. stay away from anything with any dairy stuff in it just before audition

Don't drink anything with milk in it; it will make you phlegmy.

Try hot tea without lemon.
BTW, drinking something hot might lower your range; if that's not okay, stick to cold water.

Also, I don't know if they told you this, but never suck on a throat lozenge or hard candy before you are going to sing, either. It also will make you phlegmy.
