Does anyone know any good acting agencies in chicago!?!?

I would definetelty recommened the Chicago Actors Studio. I have been study there for several years and everything that I have achieved so far (featured role on NBC Crisis, The Onion, several SAG Feature Films, TV Pilot for a Citcom on ABC and more) I owe to the acting instructors at the Chicago Actors Studio. They taught me how to risk, make interesting choices, react, think, create a character, on camera techniques and much more. The environment is incredibly supportive and everybody at the Chicago Actors Studio became like a second family to me. I would %100 recommend to join the Chicago Actors Studio to anyone who is serious about acting and wants to learn how to act and make it in the business ans it is very affordable as well!

As far as agencies are concern...If you to http://www.sagaftra.org/ look for Chicago franchised agents and they have a whole list of agencies that are legit.

All agents will sign you up if you are marketable and have prior experience in the biz. And they do look at your training of course they will audtion you. So I would strongly suggest to get the training first!

Google: Chicago acting agents. Look at their website and do research on the company before you sign anything. There are probably a handful of legit agents since Chicago has a decent market.

There are several listings in both "Perfomink" and "Audition News". Both publications are available at Borders, Barnes & Noble and assorted newstands around town.
