You need another person to read your cue lines and to give your cue lines to. 30 - 40 lines is really a piece-of-cake if you'll concentrate. You don't have to remember them forever, just until you deliver them.

I've been acting for a while now and teaching for about 2 years. The girl above me suggested exactly what I was going to type. Taping yourself and listening to your lines really works. That's what I usually do at first. That and she's 100% right about learning your lines versus memorizing. You'll be setting yourself up to freeze up on stage if you memorize them.

repeat it over and over again and picture the lines in your head. That's what I do and I can memorize a whole page of words in just like an hour.

practice, practice, practice!!! highlight all of your lines in your script first. then read through all of them. next you should know which lines come before and after your lines. it's best to memorize lines in chunks, not all in one shot. just keep repeating them over and over again, and ask someone to help you by having them read the other lines in the script...good luck!

I like repeating them out loud. I like blocking the scene and that is the best way for me to remember. My body remembers. I am Kinetic by nature you should figure out what you are audio, kinetic, visual? It always depends. Maybe for you it's best to write it or to read it over and over. but once you figure out what is best for you it's all good.
