In Australia NIDA (National Institute of Dramatic Arts). Nida has produced some of the best Australian Actors - Nicole Kidman, Cate Blanchett, Naomi Watts, Mel Gibson and Russel Crowe.

If you mean colleges, than there are three REALLY good theatre programs that I know of at-
Boston University
Georgetown University
New York University
Also, the education you get there rocks! I am going to to Georgetown.... Best School Ever.

I don't know about proper acting schools, but the best ones in my opinion is the school of Shakespeare. Just join a troop and test yourself on the stage.

sorry did'nt mean to be rude but ABISHEK , according to me no-one can actually learn acting ! As, you have posted this question in the ARTS & HUMANITIES section , you should know that acting is a art which comes from within ! you cant learn it !!

the best acting schools are in pune...sry mate have no details....i noe it is here coz the last time i asked my father this he asked me if i wanted to move from melbourne to there to act!!!!!!!!!!and yeah it has to come from inside if you think u have it then try out for an acting school or not it will be hard time trust me
