Since i was looking for an acting institue, i accidently found MSA. I set an interview with them, and they just called me and accepted me to participate in their ceremony. It's basically a modeling show that participants perform a runway show and the ones who are intrested can take acting exam as well and there are represanttives from top 50 American Magazines(in fashion area) and also some represantatives from some TV shows to pick up talented participants. Do you think there is any possibility that i sign a contract or something with one of those comanies? Is it stupid of me to participate? (they charge me 1440$ including Hotel and meal for 3 days) You can also see www.modelsearchamerica.com

There are many less expensive ways to become a model, especially if you live close to a major area, like LA or New York. Even in Chicago, Dallas, and parts of Florida there are a lot of agencies that you could send your photos to, I'm sure if you check out a site like models. com, it will point you in the direction of the agencies that have actual working models, and on those agency websites they normally list how to submit your information to them. That being said, I went to school with a girl who went to model search america and became a guess girl, along with working for victorias secret and abercrombie, but she's the only success story from that place I've ever heard, so I'm not completely convinced of it, especially for the price and the fact that they allow you to come to their ceremony without asking for photos or anything else to see your modeling potential.
