by "hearing" I'm guessing you mean "audition"....and no, you do not need to have professional experience to be hired. They cast according to look (do you look like the character they are casting)...talent, and attitude. They love fresh young faces with enthusiasm, but there are some roles for older comedic actors as well. Of course, if you can sing and dance it doesn't hurt, either!!

No experience required - just talent. Keep a check for upcoming auditions and go for it. You can do anything you set your mind to.
