Do you mean professional plays? Community theater? I don't see many resources for theater in the Houston area, which is surprising to me given how large a city it is.

Your local newspaper entertainment section is your best bet. The Katy Times web site has nothing, but the Houston Chronicle does have theater articles and listings on it's Arts web page. Is there a local weekly paper with more of a cultural focus? I see that there is a web site for something called the "Greater Houston Weekly". Can you get a copy?

The Downtown Houston Theater District has an excellent web site that lists productions for all of its member theaters, and even includes some half price promotions.

A list of local theaters is provided on the houston.com web site, which provides phone numbers and addresses, but not URLs. A Google search, however, will find the web sites for those local theaters that have them. Some of these theaters may have email announcement lists that you can subscribe to.

I've listed below these and some other links that may be useful.

Just look on Yahoo's Yellow pages for, "Stage Plays", or Art theatre's, or " Theatrical Art's", first type in your city & state... And then type in Theatre's, or StagePlayHouses , something along those lines..... Musical Theare's, or the like!! Good-Luck to you, hun!! Sound's like fun!!! Smile!!!
