Are most human beings incapable of finding the better way? As an example, notice the hatred which is often directed toward contributors on Answers who offer opinions which differ from those of others.

Last year, I did policy debate, but didn't care for it much, so I'm in LD this year. I love it, but struggle because I can't compete in with novices, since I technically did debate last year (even though policy was a lot different from LD). Due to my policy history, my greatest strength is speed. However, even if I try to spread the hell out of my opponent in the 1AR, it ends up sounding blippy- since I'm having problems prioritizing what should be answered/extended. Are there drills for this? Any other tips would be great, too. Thanks!

I am a Christian, and obviously against murder in all forms. But think without faith or feeling....what would be bad about murder to the human race in general and to society if it was legal to murder. Morals and feelings (such as kindness and love) cannot influence this opinion. Why would it be bad to murder otherwise? Think carefully.

I barely know how to read music notes, been soo long and forgot most, so, A major, etc, doesn't mean anything to me. Where do you start so when doing basic guitar lessons you understand whats being talked about?

For instance, I just sprayed myself with some perfume that I got in Paris. It didn't remind me of Paris, but it reminded me of an apartment I used to live in near the beach. I remembered what it would sound like waking up, having to move my car from one side of the street to another every Thursday and Friday, going out the front door and all the wine and cheese parties I had there and all the stories we would tell at them.

What scent or smell does that sort of thing for you?

I was wondering if any of you darling yahoo answers fanatics could help me with the following problems I have!

First:
I need a good monologue to work with. I know all of the google monologue sites but if anyone has a good monologue that they used or one in particular that is good I'd love to look at it!

Second:
In the spring I am auditioning for my school's production of Bye Bye Birdie. I've always wanted to play Kim and so if any one has an tips for a song choice that would be awesome! I am a soprano in my choir but can sing alto music as well! Any suggestions would be great!

Thirdly:
I have a very tough decision to make in two months about whether I would rather pursue theater or squash (the sport of course not the vegetable) I am a fairly good squash player but a better actress. But my singing is not as good as my squash game although I'm not bad just a little unconfident. Any opinions? Advice?

THANKS SO MUCH TO YOU ALL!
