The biggest online one is Dick Blick --
http://www.dickblick.com/
But the one I prefer is Artist & Display --
http://www.artistanddisplay.com/
Both have a huge inventory of just about every media. They're a little light on sculpting supplies if you work with paper clay or mache, but for drawing, painting, etc. they've got most of what you'll need.

There are many good ones that I use but I compare prices and sales before ordering. Jerry's Artarama, Dick Blick, Daniel Smith, Cheap Joe's Art Stuff (I use often) Mister Art, and ASW are all reliable. With some there is free shipping for orders over $200 or $250. Others have specials on shipping of specific items. You will be charged a lot for shipping large items that have to be shipped flat, canvas, some papers, mat boards, etc. There are freight charges for other furniture type art supplies.
Hope this helps!

You know, I would actually try Ebay, Amazon and Craigslist first (w/Craigslist, type in 'art supplies' or whatever you're looking for, like 'easel') before I bought from any art supply stores.
Jerry's Artarama is very good
