"Grandaughter"
Snow flakes fall as reminders
joys of December will soon be upon us
just as each snow flake's print differs
each December holds eventful memories
on the nineth day of December, in 1993
that precious, joyful event was-you!
refreshing as a Spring bouqet
a waited for after a long winter's chill.

Agnostics don't think a person can achieve ultimate knowledge as far as God.... ok, what is ultimate knowledge? Do they just mean proof of God or what? I lot of atheists say that they have enough doubt in God that they know God does not exist and are therefor not agnostic....

but what is knowledge by the agnostic terms?

Love can either save some one or kill some one.
How much do you think the balance of it and why?
And can you give example?

I looked around
The sky was interesting
The moon was in the white sky and the sun was going down

I looked around
There were comforters and comfortees
I was suppose to be a comforter

I looked around like a tourist
as if the funeral-to-be was a spectacle
I was in my role of observer
and I saw my co-worker’s white face
without makeup was still quite pretty
Did her grief add to or subtract from her beauty?

I saw the mounds of dirt
some with flowers and some without
I tried not to think what it meant
what those mounds of dirt meant

The wife of the dead man fainted
I had been told that she didn’t love her husband
Then I remembered my friend telling me
the dead man took too long to die
the family prayed for his death

Passive anger can be expressed in the following ways:

Secretive behavior, such as stockpiling resentments that are expressed behind people’s backs, giving the silent treatment or under the breath mutterings, avoiding eye contact, putting people down, gossiping, anonymous complaints, poison pen letters, stealing, and conning.
Manipulation, such as provoking people to aggression and then patronizing them, forgiveness, provoking aggression but staying on the sidelines, emotional blackmail, false tearfulness, feigning illness, sabotaging relationships, using sexual provocation, using a third party to convey negative feelings, withholding money or resources.
Self-blame, such as apologizing too often, being overly critical, inviting criticism.
Self-sacrifice, such as being overly helpful, making do with second best, quietly making long suffering signs but refusing help, or lapping up gratefulness.

I am an amateur vexilogist, a student of flags, their design, symbolism, history, use and the rest.. I now live in Asia after travelling for a little while in many countries and I have noticed that the British Union Jack or Union Flag is often worn as a fashion statement on anything from motorbike crash helmets to T-shirts, on jeans, underpants, and shoes. It appears far more often than other flags or national symbols.

Many nations of course would be mortified at such a move but not the British, and thank God for that too.

My query is why do so many people were another country’s flag on their clothes and why the Union Jack overwhelmingly?

it just seems to me we rely on money for everything in life,
wouldn't it be nice if there was an alternative and that
we were not governed and controlled by money, if there was no money in the world what would you suggest as an alternative ?

Family pictures

I see your family pictures...
you are one happy family indeed
i imagine the occasions you have...
must be really heart warming...
the smiles, the laughters and cheers!
how fortunate you all are...
that it sends tears in my eyes!
i shiver at the realization of my own misfortune!
a sharp and bitter pain i can't explain...
it brings me down to my knees!
i bite my nails... i am speechless...
it amazes me...
how life works...
it shatters me to the core!

I think this is in the Pacific. It is not very deep if i saw right. I saw something on tv about it about a year or so ago.

Its shallow enough that a diver could easily swim down and stand on the deck of a aircraft carrier.

I dont know how old the ships are, if they are world war 2 ships or more modern ones.

I am pretty sure its not a gunery range targets, just a group of naval ships that were for some reason sunk.

if anyone knows what i am talking about and can give me a link to information on this please let me know.

I found this poem that i wrote in high school. I enjoyed it, but that may just be because i wrote it.

He fled the field so full of flowers
to fight disdainful fiends and powers
he loaded lead and ****** his head
and saw the soldiers, still as towers

He looked upon, with cyclops' eye
one day his brother, now doomed to die
his brother ne'er returned the stare
nor thought to cry and wonder why
betrayed, begotten, be all forgotten
frail life lives on, for strong men die

honest feedback, guys. I wrote this thing about fifteen years ago. I won't be insulted if you say it sucks.
