life is only stressful when we make it that way....some people add stress to their life by wanting more material things...of course this entails a lot of money and so you have to work harder to pay off your debts...some people add stress by worrying about things that are yet to happen....some people worry about what other people would think about how they look, how they act, etc....some people do things by the last minute instead of planning ahead...this add stress too...

there are so many things that make life stressful...but if we learn to simplify our activities, our lifestyle...then it shouldnt be too stressful...how do we do this...concentrate on buying first the basic necessities in life(to minimize spending thus no need for extra work)...plan ahead (so you dont panic that you dont have enough time to reach the deadline)....just do things your own way and do not pay attention to what others may think...as long as you know you are doing good and not causing harm to anybody...then everything should be okay....

Life in the normal context is stressful, such as growing up, getting married, having children, paying regular day to day bills, working, illness, etc.
We can also make our lives far more stressful than they need to be!
We can do this by getting ourselves into debt, ie, not paying our bills when they come, getting credit and/or loans out, being in the wrong kind of job, etc.
It also depends on the personality of the person, their emotional make-up, as to how the same problems in life are perceived by each individual! Some will perceive the same problem as devastating, whereas others will see it as a minor inconvenience!
Our up-bringings and childhood experiences affect how we deal with stress in our everyday lives!

Is stress bad? Isn't there such a thing as healthy stress? Or am I confusing this with determination? What is it that drives us to succeed in life?

I heard during a seminar that there are 3 reasons why people change:

1 people change when it becomes so painful they have to change (stress applies to this)
2 people change when they learn enough they can change.
3 people change when they are given enough to change.

It is almost sad that the first is the number one reason for most people to change. If we felt no pain or stress who would really want change? Stress can be seen as something that motivates us to better ourselves or keep moving forward.

I have learned some of the more important leasson in life this way and still have a long road ahead of me. So maybe it is stressful and you need to figure out if that is a good thing or bad thing. The ball is in your hand and it's your call my friend.

Our life is made stressful because we make it so through materialistic approach to life. Our materialistic desires make us want more and more and even more and we remain ever dissatisfied running after something or the other all the time. If we embrace broad spiritualism (not religious or ritualistic), then we can learn to be contented and that is the real medicine for reducing stress in life. Our materialistic desires should be limited to our real needs and we should not let our wishes run riot with our life.

There are 2 main causes for the stress in any ones life
1. Internal Cause
2. External Cause

and again we can divide these into further.

The main problem is we desire more than we deserve and to fulfill the desire we run into many zig saw puzzles. The cause may be anything but the ultimate result is the same, stress.

Life is not stressful. At all. It is only stressful when you think it is, which in turns makes more stress, which then makes you think you're getting even more stress and so on. Its a vicious cycle.

life is stressful if u make it difficult for urself. if u involve in crazy matters obviously it's going to be a rough road. sometimes even stress is unavoidable. then best thing to do is make urself disappear for sometime from all the stressful things and have a good time

We perceive and /or make it that way because of our involvement and ego.I am only one of the many many element,everything is the result of multifactored,vast reality,that vastness alone can take care of its course and culmination,I am only one of the many tiny instrument to carry the will of that great Reality.With this attitude,cause for stress is less. Besides, it is true to reality also.

Perception is the whole point of life. We can only live it through our own perception, so whether we decide to lead a happy life or a miserable one is completely down to our own perception. A happy optimist will always have a better life than a pessimistic cynic, because life is what you make it.

life consists of ups and downs we should know how to face those problems.
so i may say that life is stressful because we r making it.IT is our
han whether what kin of life do we want or we need. so i may say that ont create such problems that can just make ur life stressful.
