Are there any camera lenses shaped like a periscope? I want to put a lense on my camera and use my camera like regular but have the lense see above the crowd. A periscope shaped lense would be perfect. Also, it would be so long it could have high magnification.

Okay, in a previous question, I think people missed the point of the question because they got caught up in my stories. I think I have found a way to ask the question with a bit more simplicity. (A little more concisely, perhaps.)

What makes it possible for a young child to hold such a contrary view to all they had been taught at home and by society at large (relating to ideas of right and wrong)? Whereby the child thought something that was deemed "right" was "wrong." (i.e. spousal abuse)

Well, i started wrting purely for fun and because it's time consumming. anyway, i had this sypnopsis in my head about how the story was going to go and i dont know what happened but everything took a different turn. i lost control of my own story. does that sound dumb?
and i could change it, but it'd be like i am forcing something to go a certain way and that's not cool to me.
so my question is what do i do, do i go with it or do i change it?

This a question asked a thousand times a day. But does it ever occur to anyone how unimportant each individual is to the world, the world only works as a whole, as the whole 7 billion of us. We are all born equal, but do not live equal. Do any of you ever wonder why all of us cant be remembered in history and that it is not fair that lives are wasted everyday, some people have to go through difficulties and others are born into paradise. Why cant we all be actors? Why cant we all be presidents? why cant we all be rich? - In the end, does it all really matter, the world, why try to make a difference when there will always be greed, power, evil and corruption. In the end we all die and live all eternity in blackness, why worry about life??? Why???

pretend you are George Washington and you have to address the troops of the Continental Army to help them understand why it is important that they stay and do battle with the British. Write a speech that will persuade them to stay and fight for the cause.

In case you didn't know; A fictional "scenario" of multiple bomb attacks on London's underground took place at exactly the same time as the bomb attack on July 7, 2005.
"We had to suddenly switch an exercise from fictional to real," stated Power in his TV interview.

This is what I found but I don't see anything about who chose the drills.

Has the digital revolution challenged the truth and credibility of images ?
Photography used to be the evidential medium and the very definition of visual truth. Used to be someone challenged your image, your show em' the negative or slide. Tangible, real, and containing the information as captured. Even the most skilled darkroom artist would be hard pressed to alter the image beyond focus and exposure during printing with believable results. So has the digital capture/ darkroom actually caused the general public to doubt an image's credibility ? Especially a great shot, I hear it all the time 'bah you can do that with digital'

So what do you think ?

Is there anyone out there that may be related to a Karl Fredrick Steele- born on 12/06/1908. I figure since he left my great-grandmother with a child he would marry again. But to those of you who do not have any relation, if I am unable to find out about him, do you have any suggestions to how I may figure out his parents and thier ancestrial tree? Thank you for your time.

This may take a bit of typing to get across, but, please stay with me. :)

People debate from whence a sense of morality comes (or the ideas of right or wrong). It has often been said that you are "taught" right and wrong. Others say your conscience is your guide. (I typically asociate conscience with guilt.) And then, of course, there are a number of God theories.

All of that aside (because I don't think any of them are applicable here) how would you explain the following. Can you speculate why I might have felt as i did? (I will give two examples.)

1. One evening, when I was quite young, perhaps 11, a police car was at a neighbors house. Being the nosey people that we were, everyone in the neighborhood went to hang around outside the neighbor's house to find out what was going on. As it turned out, the man who lived there had been beating his wife. It was not illegal back then. He was considered within his rights, especially considering it was in his own home. Everyone in...

I need a clever name for a t shirt "company". well not really a company but I am making silk screened t-shirts with abstract designs on them. I need a good name for it. It can be a different language or even have a biblical meaning. But it has to mean something pretty sweet. So far I have "aureus" which means golden in greek...so any input would be great! thanks!

If a guy/girl told you that they are 'falling for you' does that mean they are in love with you or just 'love' you or both?
Is there a difference? What does 'falling for you' entail? Does it matter if you've only known them for about a month?

One of the reasons why all attempts at communism fail is because of the fact that it goes against human nature…

So I gotta use this point to support why I think communism failed in China during the cultural revolution, and the previous attempts at communism before that (such as the creation of the communes)…

So who was “greedy” or “individualize” during the cultural revolution that made it fail?

Thanks all in advance!

Odysseus and the butterfly.

Brave Odysseus regarded sea
in each direction. Bright and blue, the bowl
of sky relaxed upon the hazy lost horizon.
Land lay long beyond the vanishing point
of vision everywhere. The prison
of Odysseus stretched far as eye
could see all tones of circling blue.
He floated on his back and stared
at empty heaven with a speechless pang
and raised a weary arm.

And then a tiny miracle unveiled
its wings for gaunt Odysseus.
A black and yellow butterfly alighted right
between his anguished eyes and rested for
a heartbeat, fanning dazzling wings.
Odysseus began to laugh in awe,
which sent the creature back along its flitting way.

He looked from where it came and laughed again,
and courage flooded back into his heart;
and thus he sang inside his soul,
“This butterfly means land is near.
I saw this very kind, the kind I played
with as a boy at home around the lemon trees,
the ones whose wings I spread from tip to tip,
black head and back and shoulders; yellow wing
