Typically, I read laying down as I toss and turn while I read. Reading in a chair I always feel like I'm gonna ruin the chair. Plus I can never find a comfortable position in a chair, so I toss and turn far more often.

The tossing and turning while reading probably comes from the fact that I usually do most of my reading before going to sleep at night. I toss and turn in my sleep and that seems to carry over to reading for me.

I pick up a book.
I curl up on my bed or the couch, or outside on a blanket if it's nice.
I open the cover.
I usually skip over the boring pages with the copyright info and stuff, and then I start on page one.
I let my eyes travel along the lines of text from left to right.
I take in the information.
I turn the page and repeat the last step, and continue repeating these steps until I hit the last page.
I close the book, yawn, stretch, and put it away.
I begin at step one again, sometimes with large spaces of time between, sometimes immediately.

I read when I want to read, or mostly have time to read.

I usually find a nice spot in my house, in the living room or a bedroom and of course a nice lamp that shines well is a must. I about anything. I also want to add I do not read manga. I really don't like manga.

I open a book and put my eyes on the paper, looking over the words from left to right in normal books. In manga, I read right to left but it takes some prior skill.

That's a...weird question.

I'd chose a book.
Find somewhere nice (normally it's my couch or my bed).
Open the book.
Start reading.
Might have a few pauses in between to make myself a hot chocolate/milk.
Sometimes I'd finish it one sitting, sometimes I'd have to repeat the above for a few days. Depends.
