'Looking into the Camera' in the Mirror and NOT at Themselves.

Why do Movie Directors teach, when Acting a MIRROR Act.....they always have Actors/sses angle themselves Eye-Balling the Camera-Lens....and Not really Looking at yourselves ???

Seriously, Directors DO have them Look at the Camera and Not themselves in the Mirror on the Movie Stage :)

Yeah, as if Movie Directors are gonna 'Trick' us Movie Watchers into thinking (they) really ARE Seeing themselves in the Stage Mirrors....instead of the Camera Lens.

Never got me Fooled. It's so Obvious that Actors/Actresses Do that in their Mirror-Actings on Stage.

.......And they say a "Great Actor" never ever ever Eye Balls the 'Camera' while Acting.
But when Acting in front of a Mirror scene, Directors 'Do' have them Look into the Camera, through the Mirror.

*I don't get it.*

I want to be able to inform people about paintings, and their artists. I want to also be able to recognize paintings of artists. But I want to know a variety of paintings. However, I do not have time to go to the muesuem-at all!

Should the State (a country or a country's government) have the power to decide the fate of someone? Here are two situations for your consideration.

Situation 1:
A person is arrested of the rape and murder of a young child. The media plays a circus around the case and when the person goes to court a guilty verdict is handed down. Should the State have the power to order and carry out a death sentence? What if this person is innocent of the crime that they were accused? There have been many cases of people being executed and then posthumously exonerated. In fact there was one case in the US where the victim of a rape ID'd her attacker, and that evidence alone (due to rest of the case being circumstantial) he was convicted. He was sentenced to life in prison instead of death, but it took 13 year and a DNA test to prove that he was not the perpetrator. When such miscarriages of justice can occur should the state have the power to sentence to death?

Situation 2:
The Sate declares war on another country and orders all able-bodied men to fight. The country has as part of it’s laws and constitution strict anti-killing and anti-forced labour policies and laws. The drafted personnel are forced (many against their will) to train, fight and kill the other countries personnel. Should a country State that does not allow its citizens to kill one another or force one another to labour, with or without pay, against their will, be allowed to go against its own policies and force it’s citizens to fight and kill?

Should the State have the power to decide life or death?

Please note: Judicial systems gain their power from the State, so therefore although the judicial system is separate from the State, the State still decides to scope of the powers the judicial system has.

im not talking about being on yahoo answers. god knows we are all becoming retards on here. i mean in general, do you feel like normal people are getting smarter and more skilled in our society?

in 2001 when i graduated highschool the world seemed a lot different. it was pre 9/11 and that may have even made a difference.

i cant tell if all of society has gotten smarter or if maybe just i have through aging, education, and experience.

...what do you think? have average people gotten smarter in the past 6 years?

You would think that Hitler would have been mad at the Japanese for drawing the US into the war - it would have been easier to fight GB and Russia and worry about the US later.

Did the German military collaborate with the Japanese on the attack? How close was the axis alliance as far as military planning, etc?

Im 16 years old and I've been training for years. I've won national competitions, and i've been told that I have great potential. My biggest weaking is gaining flexibilty. I tend to get stronger instead. Any suggestions? Im almost desperate now, Im even thinking about popping my legs, which is not a good idea.

I had my first film audition sunday the 8th, and it went extremely well. I'm wondering though how long is it for a call back or a final call letting you know you received the part? Normally with theater it's within about 2 days but with film I'm not sure. Some extra info- I'm not union but this was for a union film. I was not local (audition was in Hollywood) but I flew out for the audition and have places to stay for filming should I get the part. Thanks!

my friend elizabeth claimed if i like eating "rocky road icecream" everyday, it makes it not so special anymore.
should things that you hold high in value be done or said lesser or less frequent.... or the more often you do or say something (like i love you everyday), the more special and significant it gets to be a part of your life....

I live in the new york city area and really want to become an extra in a movie or tv show so i call up the postings they have in the Village Voice Paper and they are usually 800 numbers so i call and they always ask me to pay after I have given my address and phone number even when I ask in the beginning is this a paid service and they always say no and then at the end of the call ask for my credit information . well can anyone give me any info on what UCLA is like ?
is it worth going to?
would i actually be able to pursue my an acting career and be a better actress?
will i be succesfull in the acting buisness ?

Yea,ok so i tok drama class!My teacher says im an good dedicated actress...But the problem is,she didnt like me,so she failed me!Yea and she knew i didnt like her becuz she didnt like me!i got an either a A or B in all my assignments,and she still have me a F,on my report card!Yea,i am dedicated and will do whatever it take to fulfill my dream.Do you think if someone looked at those records,and i told them i am very on the job and dedicated,that they will believe me and decided to give me a chance?Or do you think that they will not check me out?I need answer plz!
