In a novel, when there is a telephone conversation and you want the reader to know both sides of that conversation, how do you write that?

Do I have to make it complicated or use big words for people to be intrested in my book? Or I can still use simple words in my book and people are still going to enjoy it?, if one day it gets published.lol. I am writing a book that in my opinion it is for everyone. But I'm not sure. Oh and do you think I should put a lot of details, describing the setting?

Harry Potter and Eragon are very good books. I especially loved the darkness atmosphere that was created in Eldest.

The Harry potter 1st movie was the best, the rest wasn't. They were like the Eragon movie, too much action, not enough story and mystic imagination.

Stephen Ambrose leaned over the polished metal railing of the Hazleton Avenger, looking out into the distance at the fading amber light of the setting sun, which reflected in glorious splendor off of the dark navy blue of the ocean. It looked, in a way, like the sun was plunging down into the depths, as though it had simply grown weary of shining, and had decided to end it all by extinguishing its flames in the cool and salty blackness of the bottomless sea.

Stephen sighed, glancing down at the digital display on his watch. The brilliant, icy blue LCD display on the watch face showed it to be nearly seven thirty five. In a little over twenty five minutes, Stephen himself would be making a descent beneath the waves in a small, cramped submersible. He thought that he should make the most of his last few minutes on the surface. After all, he wouldn't breath in the cool, fresh air or see the sun again for more than twelve hours.

Hey everybody! I'm working on something and I'd really love to use the font that Metric uses. Here's an example of what it looks like:

What indicators existed, from the beginning of the Republic, that the Civil War was likely? Why did the South believe it had no option but to leave the Union?
Okay, I am wondering what is the Republic? Thanks for the help.

We all know that most of the Romanovs or anyone related to them were executed during the start of the Russian Revolution. We know that Tsar Nicholas II and his wife Alexandra were executed along with their five kids. Here's the question:

Do you believe that the Tsar and the Tsarina got what was coming to them (execution) or do you believe that they were poorly mistreated and should've stayed in exile?

Or do you believe that only the Tsar should've been executed?

For the record: their kids really didn't deserve to die since they had no hand in the ruling of Russia.

What is your take on this? I, myself, have a history degree but I'm still divided on this question even though I'm biased in favor of the Romanovs (I studied them as a hobby when I was a teenager).

I'm not asking you to make up my mind for me; I'm just curious as to what you truly think, considering the historical backdrop and what the Tsar did.

Does the trucker who drove it to the store count to contributing to your eating salad? What about the people who picked the lettuce? Did inventions play a part ... so, if you were to guess how many people in total helped you get a salad ... how many would you guess?

Ok so JK has said that two man characters will die. This is a character elimintation game to see who people think is going to die. Next to the name of the two characters who you think will die you put a (+) and add a point. The two you don't think will die, put a (-) and minus a point. When we get to the last 4 characters, their points go up to 50 and you can only minus. Have fun!
