His father had Jewish blood. It was possible due to a grandfather, since Alois was illegitimate. One of the first things the Nazis did, when they went into Austria, was to find his birth records and hide them. They did not want the people to know this.

It is rumored that he was part Jewish, that his grandmother had an affair with one of her employers, and his surname was Jewish. This is all speculation of course. But then again, Hitler did try to destroy any family records when t the take over of Austria happened. He was born in Austria.

His mother was Jewish, or at least part. Because of this that makes him part Jewish, the right passes from mother to child.

No, there was always some rumor one of his grandparents may have been but his mother and Father were Roman Catholic.

However, his STEPfather was jewish. As well as an abusive alcoholic.

Yes his mother was, so he was to. Which is weird because he was going for a super race (blond hair, blue eyes) and he himself had brown hair and eyes....
