How do you get an acting agent/ manager?

I know you cant have a good carrier as an actor without one, But how can you get ahold of one?

The procedure to get an Agent is NOT the same in every city. Ask your actor friends or acting teacher what procedure you should use to get an Agent.

Unless you have a substantial number of roles on your resume an agent will NOT want to represent you.
