Harry potter and the dealthy hallows.. Who will die.?

Question

I was thinking that harry's scar is a horxcus and he will have to sacrafice himself. And that the order of the phoenix will kill him. But who do you think will die?

My guesses are:
Lupin, Slughorn, Voldemort, Snape and Ginny.

Lupin - because Greyback might have a personal vendetta against him for trying to recruit werewolves for the Order

Slughorn - because he shared the Horcrux memory with Voldemort (If Voldemort finds out that Harry is searching for Horcruxes, then Harry will certainly be in a lot of danger!)

Voldemort - because he's a super-villian who wants to rule the world and there's no way to have a satisfying ending if the super-fillian lives (think Star Wars and Lord of the Rings)

Snape - I think he'll do anything to kill Voldemort, including sacrificing himself to help Harry do the job (since Snape knows he can't be the one to do it - which is why he hates Harry so much)

Ginny - I had a bad feeling about her mortality when she showed up as Harry's love interest in HBP... I'm going with my initial gut feeling on this guess. And, JKR said that Ginny will play a role in HBP, and her absence from the covers means, to me, that she might have been kidnapped.



I don't think Harry's scar is a horcrux, because Voldemort couldn't possess Harry for more than a few seconds, and Quirrell, who was housing Voldemort's soul, couldn't physically touch Harry at ALL. I don't think a bit of Voldemort's soul could survive in Harry for 17 years.

I think that Harry Potter will die in this book because of the prophecy which states that one cannot live while the other survives. It's only logical that Voldemort kill Harry or vice versa, but I think that they will kill each other in battle while their wands are connected. It's a perfect ending to a seven-book series. In every other book Harry escapes by mere luck or help from others, definitely not skill because Voldemort is way above Harry in talent. The perfect ending would be this because everyone expects only one to die but this is unexpected and JKR has a very odd way of dropping the bomb on people when they least expect it.

At least 1 of the trio (Harry,Ron,Hermione) will die.JK Rowling had mentioned that because they're major characters in the story, they're bound to be attacked more often. Also, they're gonna be going on dangerous hunts for horcruxes.Anything could happen. I don't believe Harry's scar is a horcrux. According to Dumbledore, there are 7 horcruxes, the last piece being in Voldermort himself, Riddle's diary (1st horctux-destroyed),Slytherin's ring(2nd horcrux-also destroyed), then there's Slytherin's locket(3rd horcrux-missing) and Hufflepuff's Cup(blieved to be the 4th horcrux-missing). That's 5 horcruxes(including the last bit in voldemort himself) alltogether already. So tht leaves us with another 2 horcrux. Seeing as Voldemort likes collecting things that are valuable(there's his diary, slytherein' locket and ring, and hufflepuff's cup-all valuabe-), it's possible tht another horcux item would belong to Ravenclaw. -the 6th horcrux- According to Dumbledore, the "only known" relic of gryffindor in the sword in his office, so tht is not a horcrux. Dumbledore considers the possiblity that the 7th horcrux could be Nagini(Voldy's snake). There you go, 7 horcruxes. riddle's diary, slytherin's locket and ring, hufflepuff's cup, something of ravenclaw or gryffindor,Nagini and voldy himself. Also, the final battle between voldy and Hary would have to be wandless, if u look at the cover properly.

i think that harrys scar was horcrux so to speak but i think that voldemort extracted it when he rejuvenated his body in Goblet of Fire (he used Harrys blood). For that reason I dont think Harry will die. I suspect snape might die, but he is not the type to sacrifice himself because of his slytherin aspects. Pettigrew will die using his life debt to harry to kill voldemort, I dont think Harry will kill him as his soul would be ripped, Rowling makes it clear that even in self defense killing is killing. Harry prevents lupin and Sirius from killing Pettigrew and Dumbledore does not kill Voldemort when he had the chance. I suspect Neville might die or someone from the Weasley family. I guess we will have to wait to find out.
