bear in mind:
actions - result of ones provement in showing that they're to get things done
words - result of one taking into account in a thought process before quick judement (i.e. one usually thinks about something before they do it)

OK so I'm 21, about to go off and join the forces with any luck, but during leave I'd like to learn how to play the piano. I am, however, worried about a few things:

1. I have the dexterity and reflexes (with regard to my fingers) of an ape- I am a boxer and a rugby forward, not an artist. Can this be changed?

2. I haven't got the cash or time for lessons and tuition, and I have heard that the sort of keyboard that you need to learn on is very expensive to buy- true?

Thanks!

Society falls to your feet with grace and style
...Before your lonely eyes.
Its winter breath caresses you silently,
With violent wishes...
Crimson kisses,
Fulfilling the temporary innocence and emptiness
...With calming severity;
Silhouettes in shadows trace your every step.
Casually whispering to yourself;
Somehow, somewhere,
another time, another dare;
...Another line;
...Afraid to share,
You tremble, but you know;
...Somehow you understand...
The truth beyond the temptation,
The purity beyond the question,
Knowing I’m there...
With sensuous rhythm,
The evil in others’ hearts,
Feeds the storm within.
A velvet kiss lingering on the edge of eternity,
Beckons you, blackens you,
Tearing you apart...
Silken feathers on the floor...
Broken tiles crying for more.
Give in to your pain,
Leave it behind...
Carefully shrouded memories,
Embrace your mind;
Heart felt, heart swept,
Cling to your dreams,
And I’ll take you there.
Against your better sentiments,
I’ll take you there.

Few extra key words: essence, simplicity. flexible, essence...think of the slogan 'Liquid Thinking; Adapts to change, Flexible by Nature, Fluid in style'....a really simplistic image suitable for a company logo . Thanks in advance!!!

People kill elephants for ivory. It can't be worth that much? I don't know anything about ivory btw but I can't believe people would kill a whole elaphant for some ivory.

I was reading some Harry Potter questions and a theory popped into my head. Tell me what you guys think about it...

When Voldemort came back in GoF, did he use a horcrux? If he did, could that have been the locket? I got to thinking, if he didn't use a horcrux, how did he become full-bodied?
Had Voldemort already used the locket horcrux, could he have made up the note? If he did, that would be a trap for that person that found the fake, because it would send them on a life-long search. They Probably wouldn't find any others because they were too busy looking for the locket. It would drive them insane.

It's nothing set in stne, just an idea.

I was reading book about the British Empire I while back I came upon page where it showed a page with some British cavalrymen fight with some Sudanese tribesmen. {A 400 strong regiment attacked what they thought to be a few hundred dervishes, but in fact were 2,500 infantry hidden behind these dervishes in a depression. After a fierce clash, the Lancers drove them back at some cost (three Victoria Crosses were awarded, for the loss of five officers, 65 men, and 120 horses), roughly one-fourth of their total manpower.} (I cut that from wikipedia) the author of the book I was reading called it "a perfect display of the idiotic bravery of the time" and continued on to rather subtlety suggest the overall stupidity of the empire in general. While not a imperialist, I felt a little hurt that the author sort of mocked the sacrifices of all our past soldiers and wondered, is this how the empire will be portrayed in the future and should it be?
