I am angry at the dad for leaving that bomb shelter with all the water and the peaches. But how great was that book anyway. What did you love about it, or hate?

I am auditioning for the role of Nancy, but I have never seen the show before. Do you know of a song that conveys the same type of mood/personality as the songs she sings in the show? The song I normally sing is "******** Optimist" and I don't think that song quite fits her character, since this seems like a darker show than "South Pacific".

This is being carried out by descendants/tribe members somewhere in America. It is being sculpted out of a mountain, will not be finished for years/decades, and is huge. I am sure it Sitting Bull or someone of similar legendary status.

I've recently studied Socrates, Nieztsche, Schopenhauer, Epicurus and Epictetus. My favorite reading was "The allegory of the Cave" by Plato. I'd love to hear your opinion

2. Has to have a online copy (provide link)
3. I don't mind if it's a classic.

I'm (trying) to write a book and so far I have roughly 11,000 words. I know that currently isn't enough, but I'm just curious to know how many words is considered a standard amount in order for a publisher to consider it?

This caused me to wonder about something. If you suddenly found out that I was really a sixty-five year old retired prostitute from Des Moines with one bad eye and a limp, would my answers still hold value? Would my "friends" and "fans" continue to look for my postings? Would my change in status cause me to be "persona non grata" to the YA community? Does our value depend on our acceptability, or do we have value based on the portion of our souls that we share? Just wondering.

Jehovah is my helper!

Hebrews 13:6 'Jehovah is my helper; I will not be afraid'

We live in this sick wicked system of things so far and deep.
We try each and every day forever in Jehovah's mind to keep.

We have so many things in our life, sickness, Old age, depression, and anxiety that all seems so wrong.
We know Jehovah never meant for any of these pains, but if we stay close to our brothers and sister we will stay strong.

Our brothers and sisters are not perfect, yes this is true.
So let's try not to be so critical of them, and allow them to help us when we are blue.

Isaiah 41:13 says "Do not be afraid" That Jehovah is grasping our right hand.
When we have problems come up in our life we have to remember for Jehovah to take our stand.

(it is a long poem so Im gonna have to add several times)

Background Info:

Although many people cannot even name a WWII Soviet General, Marshall Zhukov, "Hero of the Union" was the Patton, Rommel and Montgomery of the Soviets. Zhukov was responsible in part for the defense of Moscow, and for the sacking of Berlin, to name two.

He took the fewest of the overwhelming Soviet casualties, and accomplished the most heroic victories by Stalins standards.

His tactics were unique and defined the Russian stereotypical strategist. However, many Historians of WWII, and some of Zhukovs' comrades, claim him a weak leader, and his strategies poor, or not his own.

Today, three general standpoints on Zhukov are around. The during-WWII Soviet Opnion, that he was a hero and a genius, the during-WWII Allied opinio nthat he was a typical loyal Soviet commander (although Eisenhower commended him) and the modern opinion that he was probably not so great a military mind, and was glorified, although he did have a FEW accomplishments.

What do you think?
