There is no ONE meaning that you or I can truly understand, even if we are religious. How you relate to the Meaning of Life depends on where you are in your life, your beliefs, your open-ness to exploring the question and what makes sense to you or what you can accept as being true.
If you religious, then you commit to a higher power (often) and the wisdom of the answers given in your religion about the meaning of life. I am not suggesting this is right for you.
But for anyone to tell YOU what the meaning of life is for YOU is not a question I think they should answer. They can give opinions and reasons, but the ultimate answer is yours to decide.

A. We are a bio computer, there's an entity who has control of our time dimension, we are the equivalent of a 'What if' spreadsheet, permutations are worked out in nano seconds in the entities time which equates to millions of years in ours. Our time can be run at any speed (as time is relative we wouldn't know).
B. Life is a fairground ride, you look for reasons to get off before the rides finished and you'll always find them!

Meaning comes from having a purpose.
There can be no purpose unless there is a God who created us to have a purpose. It makes no sense to make up meanings. Either give up on finding any meaning or seek the God who created you.
But why must we have a purpose? Because we were created that way to point us to seek our Creator.
to Wayne ahrRg who said, "Why should it have meaning? Life is as meaningless as anything else.": I'll bet you don't live your life as if your life doesn''t mean anything. I would bet you see meaning in love and friendships and in doing good in the world. Show me someone who truly believes their life to be meaningless and I'll show you someone suicidal or insane.

Life is life. That's using the identification property. Life is equal to itself. So, if you REALLY wanna know what life is all about, live. Often, we get caught up in asking this question, and in the end find out we fulfilled nothing! So go on, live! You'll know in the end.

being a Christian I say the meaning of life is to have fellowship with God. As that is what he created Adam and Eve for in the first place. He didnt want to be an overlord over them or us he wants for us to love him on our own free will. that is why he gave us that ability...
