I guess I have a few...I regret not being able to do things over in general, I'm always finding flaws in myself. My second biggest would be telling a very self centered person my deepest secret that was really weighing me down and having her regard it flippantly. THAT hurt. My third regret would be not being able to see a Dir En Grey concert when I had the chance (my parents wouldn't let me on a school night) and I've pretty much been messed up since then. It was like having the love of my life taken away. :)

I used to have a crush on this sweetest, nicest guy you can imagine, in my GCSEs year; and because of various personal problems at home (for both of us), we never kissed each other - just friendship, unfortunately. Then we went away to High School. But twice afterwards, in my life, he tried to contact me, and I met him afterward, but we've grown too much apart in that time, although there are still traces of the old flame in my head, as I noticed when he touched my fingers. I wish I had him as my boyfriend at the time, maybe things would have been different. What's interesting is that both our lives, for about 10 years, seemed to have been the occasion of a few near misses for a reunion.

I know this sounds trivial, but when I was in law school, I had a chance to go one extra year and get a JD/MBA instead of just a JD. At the time, I just couldn't imagine spending an extra year in school when all of my friends were graduating. I think the extra degree would have led to a much better, higher paying career.

Years ago I was offered a job as a technical writer of software manuals. I turned it down, stating that I didn't know anything about computers and would never EVER touch one. They offered to train me, telling me that they wanted someone who could write and I certainly could. I was horrified and said absolutely not. Every day, I regret that decision. I'd be rich and working for myself today.

Building gambling debts of thousands of pounds, then stealing to try and recoup the money. Was a long long time ago, but took over 10 years to get even somewhere near on track, by which time I had lost a marriage, most of my confidence and self-belief.

Hey ho ... they say you live and learn, what doesn't kill you makes you stronger : )

while I have plenty of regrets, I wouldn't change them for the world they are what has made me who I am today. My biggest regret is not having my grandmother with me here today, she died several yrs ago and I still miss her to this day.

My biggest regret is that I didn't take the opportunity to travel before I had children. Now that I have children, it is difficult to do so.
