I believe in Ijtihad which means to read the quran and hadith and come up with my own interpretation of them without the help of scholars.
and others prefer Taqlid which is said to me to be blind faith in the scholars of Islam without asking questions

My Wife of 4 years is driving me up the wall. I want to leave bad to be on my own and not because i met someone I just want to be free of her. I am only 26 I care for her but I have put her through hell and I don't think there is any going back or making it work. I have cheated and lied, wait she has too. We have split up and got back togeather to many times to count and now when we fight she has started hitting me. Now by no means is she hurting me I am well trained and in the army so she really isn't hurting me it just scares me. I take the blame for the way she acts but I have had enough and I am not afraid of moving on anymore. The fighting is starting to affect my Two young girls too. We are both good parents this only seems to be bad when we are together. WHAT SHOULD I DO?

me and my boyfriend have sex a lot, and we never use protection, cuz we just don't like it. (so suggesting that we need to use protection, or birthcontroll or something won't do any good.) how am i supposed to know if im pregnant, cuz i can't go and get a pregnancy test. are there any signs besides skipping your periods? because i always skip, sometime i skip 3 months at a time, but thats no big deal. so, please help :)

During the past year, I have attempted to make love to you 365 times. I have succeeded 36 times, which is an average of only once every 10 days. The following is a list of why I didn't succeed more often:

We will wake the kids - 54 times

It's too late - 15 times

I'm too tired - 42 times

It's too early - 12 times

It's too hot - 18 times

Pretending to be asleep - 31 times

The neighbors will hear - 9 times

Headache or backache - 26 times

The reason I laid still was because you had missed me and were screwing the sheet. You seemed to be having a good time and I didn't want to move and spoil it for you. I wasn't talking about the crack in the ceiling.

What I said was, "Would you like me on my back or kneeling?" The time I was thrashing around and gasping was when you farted and I was fighting for air. Maybe you can work on your "shortcomings?"

Could witnessing be an invasion of privacy?
Wouldn't it be better to witness to others only if they ask why you have this hope in you?
Should we allow others pressure us into witnessing if we feel that we are not ready for that?
Isn't it best to just learn to grow in the Lord and allow Him to do everything?
I never ask anyone to my church unless it is one of my kids teen ager friends, only with my kids permission of course.
Am I right, what do you think?

I plan to call my biological father tonight. He walked out on me. Last time I saw him was at age 9.

To put 2007 behind me and my past, I plan to call him tonight.

To ask:
What are you doing right now?
Why did you walk out?
Why did you never contact me?
Why was I never worth your time?
Why don't I mean anything to you?

I plan to do that tonight, then to leave it in 2007, and start 2008 off free from my past.

Has anyone ever confronted a biological parent before? How did it go?

Any tips on what I should say or ask?

I feel like telling him that I hate him for failing me, for never comunicating with me, for showing me I was not worth his time. I feel like telling him I hate him, because he knew my mom married an abusive guy, and he never ever offered to rescue me. He also failed to pay child support, which I don't really care about. What bothers me is he was never there for me. Never there for special moments, or to make me feel special, never there to direct me.

I'm not really experienced with relationships. But anyway, we were dating for only two months. It wasn't a very serious relationship in my eyes but I guess it was pretty serious in hers. I started to just realize things I didn't like about her and it got to the point that I really just didn't care about her and was noticing other women that I want to hook up with. I guess in the beginning I really liked her but it went cold. She's making a really big deal out of it and being crazy. Did I do anything wrong?
