IM NEW AT THIS! i turned a picture black and white and im trying to turn a few things in the picture back to their original color! i asked before and was told to use the history brush but i cant find that?! help please?!

The easiest way to start is this:

1. Copy the original layer. Layer -> New Layer -> Layer via Copy
or use Ctrl + J

2. Now you are on the second layer. Make this the black and white part (desaturate this layer.) Image -> Adjustments -> Desaturate
or use Shft + Ctrl + U

3. Now choose the eraser tool from the tools palette and erase the black and white layer to show the color layer below. Change your brush size to erase better.


There are many better and more sophisticated ways to do this, but this is a good way to learn to start .
