Like, what boat port do you take or tell the taxi driver to take you?

I'm talking about inside (bottom) of a pot, not outside. I left it on the burner when the burner was on (but the pot was empty). It's a high-end pot from Royal Prestige. Regular scrubbing didn't help. It's not badly burnt, but definitely visible. Any tricks? Thanks!

Man can fly to the moon, land on it, and come down safelty in the 70's when technology wasnt nearly as great as it was today. more than 30 years later cant man find a environmentally friendly source of fuel . Isnt there something that man can use in its vehicles that dont hurt mother earth. PLZ DONT PUT BIO-DIESEL- it is better but it isnt perfect or ELECTRICITY- which needs fuel to run or HYDROGEN which is extremely unsafe.

I don't like their music, and maybe you don't. But that's no reason to be rude!

I've seen people on here that say, "Has anyone gotten *MCR album here*? Is it any good?"

Then there'll be three or four answers that say, "Yeah, it's alright," or "Nah, not to my tastes", then there'll be just as many that say, "MCR SUCKS!!!!" or "You have a terrible taste in music."

Why so rude? No one's forcing you to listen to it, are they? It's like going up to you and screaming, "BLACK SABBATH SUCKS!" or "Queen's old people music!!! Ewwwww!" Neither of which are true, as you know, but doesn't it sting a little?

Remember also that a lot of these fans are middle or high school aged kids. Would you just go up and scream that in their face? We teens have feelings too, you know.

Please stop the bashing, if not for them then for the sanity of a loyal Pink Floyd fan?

I want to change my desktop on my computer but I can't get rid of the last desktop. I dowloaded a desktop from my local arena football team and I tried two different ones and parts of both of them are stuck on my computer but I can get another one from the ones that are stored in my computer and they show up fine. The squared second, would it represent another dimension?
Are spacial dimensions limited to the 3rd? If not, then what would be the 4th, 5th, 6th, etc?

Could infinite/3 be represented by 3 parallel parabolas?*

*My reasoning on this one: This would divide infinite into 3 seperate sections. As you went farther along each section, they would grow closer to one another, but being 3 seperate sections they would never meet (like 3 parallel parabolas). So am I way off, or do I have a good concept?

I seem to be upset a lot of the time. There's nothing going on with my family, I'm actually really happy with my family, I'm just upset when I'm at school and around a lot of people. I'm 14 years old and I have no friends, I used to have one best friend, but she started treating me like dirt in November, so that really brought down my self esteem because I remember how much more bright things used to be when I had her as a friend, I was more positive and happy, but now I just feel upset over little things. I'm starting to get anxious over little things (I already know that I have a bit of social anxiety) and sometimes I'll start thinking of anything random, but then I'll get this weird, sudden feeling that everyone hates me. I don't want to sound selfish, but sometimes I wonder why I have to be like this. I'm not even a mean person. I've always been quiet and friendly to all people, but I feel like nothing good is happening to me. I just want to be happy again>>

I've been part of a particular online community since 1998. A few of us have met in person or talked on the phone, and many of us have become great friends despite never having met in "real life."

Today I learned that a particularly dear lady suffering from brain cancer (diagnosed a scant six weeks ago) has gone into hospice care and is not expected to live much longer. I am in shock and grieving for someone I've never met and never spoken to, yet who is a friend. She is the third such cyber-friend this community has lost, and we miss them all. I will never get used to knowing people so intimately, yet not knowing where they live or even what their real names are.

This particular lady thought so highly of our cyber-group, that she asked a friend to keep in touch with the board's owner and let us know her condition. I'm in shock.

Has this ever happened to you?
