RE:
How do you get to Catalina Island from the LAX, Los Angeles airport?
Like, what boat port do you take or tell the taxi driver to take you?

Go to Long Beach
the Catalina Ferry is off Ocean Blvd.
Ferry leaves several times a day
Catalina Express in Long Beach is the fastest way
Think about getting off and exploring Cat Harbor at the other end of the island

I'm not sure but i'll guess it's around 65-100 dollars. That's just a guess. It's about 20-22 miles from LAX to San Pedro and taxi's aren't that cheap in L.A.But if you really want to know, look in the yellow pages directory for taxi companies and ask for their fare rates.
