I just received the summons and complaint from a Law firm, debt that I could not pay to Discover. I have no job , and The amount of the principal may be around $750. They are sued me for $2330.54. I have 21 days to file an answer with the court or take other lawful action with the court. What does that mean?
1)Should I write a letter to my creditor ( Discover..?Or the Law firm?)
2) What should I say on this letter..my offer (for instance $700 paid in full..?or something around that amount?) or shouls I say something else?
3) What are my options (I understand that if I go to court I will end up paying court fees)

My friend is planning an extravagent wedding in August and her sister announced on Christmas that she's pregnant and due in August. Her sister always has the attention, having had two big weddings already and my friend is always backseated. How or what can I do to make her feel better? It's not fair to her to be backseated during her own wedding process!

We have been together 1 1/2 and the prob stems from his ex wife who cheated on him. He says be patient he is trying to heal. he is home with me everyday so I am not worried about cheating. He is interested enough to check out porn. I offered to try many things but get rejected since he says he is not ready and being intimate is connected to when he was intimate with her says his brain was wired to love her only and he is not ready to go onto that level. I am very frustrated and this causes many arguments.

First I know I am generalizing with this question. Get over it.

This is in no way meant to disparage Catholics. However just something I have noticed on here and was wondering what others thought. It seems to me that the Catholics on here who really know there Bible, with a few exceptions, are former protestants. While the born into the Catholic church Catholics seem to have much less Biblical knowledge. Is it just me? Or does it appear this way to others as well?

Someone has offered to buy my jewellery online, but they want to send me an excess amount, that I am then supposed to forward some of to her son (i.e my jewellery costs $10, but she will send $20 then I forward $10 to her son). Aparently she also has her own shipper who will collect it - I said I will just post it to her recored delivery though. Can you suggest some secure payment and postage method so I can sort all this out? Thanks.

so i painted this canvas with oil paints and i want to hang it over my stove but the thing is i know, even if it isnt that often, food will most definately splash on it, so does anyone know of like a protective seal i could paint over it or spray to where i could just wipe off the food? or even a creative idea for some sort of cover would be good too =)

I'm failing to understand this. On one hand rappers are like 'Yeh we're keeping it real...our beautiful black african sista's' but then you see the videos and they have the lightest, most straight haired, caucasian looking women or puerto rican/spanish/latin appearance.

I have never seen a dark skinned black women in a rap video, they just don't exist?

Help me understand this prejudice black rappers have against their own women?

Friends of my parents live about 10 blocks from us. Since they are away most of the time at their other house, they said my and my two sisters can use the pool in their backyard.

The problem is, since they are not home, their house is locked. This means we can't get to the bathroom when we need to pee. It's too far and too cold to run all the way back to our house.

Could we pee in the yard somewhere (it is fenced for good privacy) or even in the pool?

when i have the shower o, if someone flushes a toilet or uses a faucet in another part of the house, the water heat suffers substantially that you cannot do two things at one time that require flowing water. Vice versa as well. what could the problem be? i have a 50 gallon water heater. do i need a pressure increaser or something?
