my shower (a kind of fancy brunch) is in a couple weeks and i'll be 8 months along. i live in new york state and it's cold and snowy and slushy. i want to be comfy, but look nice. i feel like i should wear a dress, but i don't know if i want to because of the weather, and because i need a XL for the chest and mimi and pea in the pod etc. don't carry XL. any ideas?

Well, I'm looking into being an actress. Do you have to have an agent to get into your first movie?
Also, how do you find out about auditions? [ without the agent of course]
The reason I'm asking is because I can't afford an agent right now.

My wifes car was broken into, her purse, camera, and sunglasses were stolen. They eventually caught the guy he even put over $1,000 on our credit cards. When he got caught they found a number of purses, firearms, and drugs in the car. Well we found out he is a gang member and my wife has been subpoenaed to testify against him, they are telling my wife she has to do it. I told her to plead the 5th and they told her she couldnt only the prosecuted can. My wife cries at night about this, we cannot afford an attorney. Thanks in advance

Ok this kid that likes me, that I think is very annoying, got me a Christmas present. I just found out cause he gave it to my friend to give to me. I did not get it yet. Well anyway I dont like him and of course I will say thank you for the gift no matter how good or bad it is. But I dont want him to think I like him! It was our grandfather's name. I think it sounds really neirdy. My husband thinks it sounds "fruity". My sister's son hates it and my other sister also thinks it is a bad name choice. I haven't said anything to her as I don't think it is my place, but I feel bad that my nephew will probably get teased for this name. What do you think of this name?

My ex boyfriend still calls me, instant messages me, and texts me on occassion. He is currently in a new relationship and I'm not interested in him anymore. We broke up about 6 or 7 months ago and I'm trying to be friendly and all but it seems as though he contacts me to talk about his girlfriend. Every issue that goes on between he and his girl he tells me. He also wants to hang out when he is home from college. And when I turn our little hang out sessions down he asks me what more important things do I have to do than hang out with him. Its like he wants me to drop everything when he's home. The world does not revolve around him..I do have a life. He sends so many mixed messages...and sometimes he asks me questions, like if i have been with anyone other than him...personally I think it is none of his concern...I swear this guy is so confusing!

Some lady at the airport was rambling about how the US is being anti-Christian and that for the past 50 years Americans have been "killing" Christianity.

As a Christian that lives in the US I just don't see this. It's kind of hard to say you are persecuted when you are the majority by 80%.

Any thoughts? If there IS a war going on, please provide evidence of such.

ok i kno this sounds stupid.
but i havent been on my myspace for two days now cuz it says myspace been disabled please check back later or something like that..... its like an error that always appears on pplz myspace after their login. and my friends gotten it too but they can go on their myspaces but i cant yet... how to hack into my myspace???

I am considering getting a Rainbow. I had a ball python for a little while but he was sick and died. (Not my fault, I promise) I had him for awhile and loved him. After this, I was considering upgrading and getting a little bit bigger snake (depends on where you read, I read on some places that they can only reach 5-6 feet). How big do they really get? What size aquarium do they need? What all stuff would I need to get? Please list, this would be really helpful and appreciated!

read their bibles, find verses, and when you read the verse it can be as simple as

"Jim went to the tree, climbed up it, and ate a tasty apple because he was hungry and then went to sleep later that night on a full stomach."


yet a christian would Explain, the already very simple thing as something more complex, and distort it, for no reason, like

"what its actually saying is that Jim was hungry for the knowledge of the dark, and he worked hard to finally gain this knowledge (dark knowledge, the devil's knowledge, sin, witchcraft) and because of this, his body was so full of sin from all his witchcraft that he slept which means he died."

Seriously, does this piss you other atheists off slightly when trying to reason with them, they start doing this?

It irritates me so bad.

When you look into the mirror does it seem that you are looking into your mother's or your father's face? Do you find yourself saying or doing some of the same things that you saw them saying and doing when you were a child? I often see my mother when I look into the mirror and many relatives tell me I sound just like her when I speak. Does this sort of thing ever happen to you?
