No, not cow skulls. However, some are made with gelatin substance, and gelatin is an animal product..

Google it and read up on it.

I won't eat them for that reason.

They are mostly sugar filled with a jelly like substance. Jelly Bellys are made with natural flavors, not cow skulls.

Lol...no, but if I had thought of it my kids would have thought so too...Mostly just sugar, corn syrup, food dye and flavor. Enjoy then and brush your teeth often. The Discovery Channel has a program called "How It's Made" and one of the episodes show jelly beans. If you can catch it, it's really interesting. Happy New Year.

Not all jelly beans are the same. Read the label - if it says gelatine anywhere - then avoid them. This is a gel like substance that comes from animals fat, bones and connective tissue. You can unfortunately find gelatine in many different sweets. :-)
