I was wondering how I can get a grant to start my own business? I am 16 years old, but very serious about it! Would my parents have to be involved in it?

maybe, you could ask the bank, the thing is though banks and businesses that could help you really dont like getting involved with minors because it would involve contracts and since your a minor, minors can get out of most contracts that would otherwise legally bind you if you were 18. they dont really like taking the risk. thats not to say that a business or bank wouldnt help you, never hurts to ask. i would ask the teachers at your school. i suggest getting your parents involved though

If you put HALF the effort into starting the business as you would have to put into getting the grant, you won't need the grant. Start small and build your business using your profits. I recommend the book 'E-Myth'.

Well, of "COURSE" you DO ........."who doesn't" ? ? ?

HOWEVER....you are NOT 21 to qualify, or even of legal age yet, for "ANY" financial contract,...government, bank,....or otherwise !

.....end of story!
