peoples yet Christians state he chose to "die" for us? If he set himself up to be killed by rebelling against known authorities, did he not set himself up to commit suicide at the hands of authority just so he could be a martyr?

My first husband and I divorced six years ago. We have two boys, who are now age 10 and 8. We keep a 'friendship' so to speak for our sons sake. Four years ago my eldest son wanted to go and live with his dad, and then my younger boy did as well. So, they have been living with their father, stepmother (who's a special educator) and now, new baby sister. Their Stepmother came to me about two years ago and asked if Jake (the younger boy) had been evaluated for Learning Disabilities at his school. I said no. She and my ex took him to an educational psychologist who determined that Jake has a 'Nonverbal Learning Disability'.His father and Stepmother have always taken care of this and made sure his needs were met at school. Since the arrival of his new sister 6 months ago, Jake has wanted to move back home with me, and is doing so next month. I don't really understand what a 'Nonverbal Learning Disability' is. I mean he may not always respond how you'd expect and 8 year old to, but he is very

I have mostly belly that's where the weight goes, I am tall, 5'8 and weigh 150, which is on the high side of the NORMAL weight range. Would appreciate any diet prog suggestions? Was considering South beach but it's so much grocery shopping, too expensive. I'd like to get back to 140. Thanks!

Ivo Andric won a Nobel Prize for "A Bridge on the Drina." It was repaired after World War I. Did it survive the wars of the 1990s? Was it ever in danger during those times?

Let's say I let kitchen scraps dry out and then burned them. Would the ashes be just as nutritious as compost left by bacteria of similar kitchen scraps? Burning them would be faster than letting them sit for weeks to make compost and I just wanted to know if they are both good for gardens or if they are the same basic thing. Thanks.

Some of you may have already read it! It's 'Litany' by Billy Collins:

You are the bread and the knife,
the crystal goblet and the wine.
You are the dew on the morning grass
and the burning wheel of the sun.
You are the white apron of the baker,
and the marsh birds suddenly in flight.

However, you are not the wind in the orchard,
the plums on the counter,
or the house of cards.
And you are certainly not the pine-scented air.
There is just no way that you are the pine-scented air.

It is possible that you are the fish under the bridge,
maybe even the pigeon on the general's head,
but you are not even close
to being the field of cornflowers at dusk.

And a quick look in the mirror will show
that you are neither the boots in the corner
nor the boat asleep in its boathouse.

It might interest you to know,
speaking of the plentiful imagery of the world,
that I am the sound of rain on the roof.

I just bought some brown sugar and I was curious to know if anyone out there knows how to keep it from drying out. I plan to use about half of it within the week, so that will be fine, but in the past I have had trouble keeping the remainder moist.

Thanks in advance

If a person wanted to commit suicide, but wanted to make sure that their children were left to their spouse as well as any property etc., how long would they have to wait after signing a will etc.?

What I mean is, if someone committed suicide and they left behind a will, would the court find it invalid because they weren't in their right mind?
