I have mostly belly that's where the weight goes, I am tall, 5'8 and weigh 150, which is on the high side of the NORMAL weight range. Would appreciate any diet prog suggestions? Was considering South beach but it's so much grocery shopping, too expensive. I'd like to get back to 140. Thanks!

I'm a firm believer in walking. Also, a low fat, diet such as Weight Watchers is excellent. It is a lifestyle committment, not a diet. I know many people who have lost weight and keep it off if they walk. Very few people I know can faithfully follow a strict gym routine.

I read the book "The Secret" and ended up losing 30 pounds after it. Diets don't work. Just think skinny thoughts and you'll be there in no time :)

The same as it would be if you were trying to lose 100 pounds... eat less and move more. Diets don't work.
