The books example of this really sucks because I can't comprehend it like I could with emprical formulas. I have 2 questions on this Section Review where I have to find Molecular formula so I'll write one of the problems and I'm hoping someone could explain it with the answer so I can do the 2nd one on my own?

If 4.04 g of N combine with 1.46 g O to produce a compound with a formula mass of 108.0 amu, what is the molecular formula of this compound?

Sorry, Chemistry has not been good to me this semester :( Parts I understand and parts I don't so I made sure next semester I'm in Biology because I'm better with memorizing than I am with math and stuff for Chemistry.

Hi all. So I've posed a little challenge to myself: I'm trying to identify a children's program that I used to watch when I was a kid (I'm 31 now). Here's what little I remember:

-I think it was on PBS
-It always ended with with some character watching TV, then the TV station (within the show) would sign off with The Star Spangled Banner and footage of a flag waving, then go to static
-The show once featured a vignette where a kid was in his room at night with the lights turned off, watching as headlights from cars passing outside made shadows across the walls, and all of a sudden a glowing red skeleton comes at him out out of a corner

Is this ringing any bells at all? I really appreciate any help you can give me.

ok i have had my permit for about 10 days now. i am 15. ok real case scenerio. I had a few friends over, my parents were asleep, but one kid needed a ride home b/c he had to wake up early. its like 11pm (and dark). If i got in my parents car with my permit and drove this kid home (about 5 miles) and i got pulled over by a cop. And i only had a permit, how much trouble would i be in? do you think they might let me off and just give me a warning type thing? b/c i want to drive alone

So I am 21 years old almost 22 and I still can't be out after 1030pm without hearing a lecture or getting yelled at from my dad. Since he, in my opinion, is so strict I have snuck out a few times in order to go out with friends and such. I just recently found out that he knows that I sneak out, doesnt say anything to me but loves making some kind of joke of it by telling other ppl (aka my aunt and my mom) that he knows I do. One, do I have a right to be mad that he has to tell my aunt this? Two shouldn't I just be able to stay out late? I hate that I have to sneak out and lie in order to have fun once in a while and I have tried talking to him before(like before i ever snuck out) and he just said no and that if I want to leave I can get out. Rules are rules after all. lol. Oh and by the way in his "defense" we are indian and kids are suppose to obey the rents till they are married off... And three should I just continue sneaking out when I need too even though now I know he knows?

Apparently my signal strength is low...

but when I was using it yesterday it was "good."

It's even gone up to "very good" before.

But right now, it's on low.
And it's annoying.

Slowing down everything, pages takes so long to load.

Ok, I don't live with my Mom and Stepdad. I live in CA with my dad while my mom & stepdad live in IA. I came to visit and I've been seeing him look at a lot of Nude Pictures and Chatting with girls, he always acts like some girl on myspace faking to be her. I talked to one of the girls because I stole the s/n of his computer while he was showing me something and I talked to her and stuff and told her that it was really a 50 year old man an stuff. She gave me all his information and stuff. Email Adress and His Page. Etc. I asked my aunt what to do and she said I should tell my mom. I feel very bad telling my mom this is her 4rd Marriage and she always ends up in the wrong mens hand. I mean he's a great guy just not what he's doing. Also, he got fired as a Social Worker for making others feel uncomfortable and having porno on his phone. My mom knows but he says they made it up. I dont know what to do, I feel very bad having to tell my mom. I dont want her to get hurt.

I cannot seem to keep a betta fish alive. I have had about 4 and I the one that I currently have has been alive for about 5 months (the longest yet). It was in my classroom up until Thursday when I brought it home for break. I noticed a white cottony growth on its body and purchased the proper medication at the pet store. I also did a thorough cleaning of his tank, as reccomended by the betta care site (it was pretty icky).

I learned that they liked warmer water, so I bought a small heater and a thermometer to monitor the temp. Mimo seemed to be active and getting better when I left this morning, but I returned home and found him with a swollen belly. The temperature is at 78 degrees and the tank has a carbon filter (use is suspended while treating per instructions).

I feel like all I have tried to do was to improve the environment, but possibly ended up killing him. Why? It seems a lot of people have these fish for years in dirty, small bowls.
