I'm a Deist and believe that God made the universe but merely set it aside once He was done creating it. Are there any Christians out there that believe that there is a big old guy with a white beard in some cloud in the sky that has a book with everyone's name in it? That when a person sins, God places a big red X next to there name?

Example: Humans who live in different climates have adapted to survive in those climates. Cycle Cell Anemia is an "adaptation" that actually occurred to fight off malaria. The malaria virus cannot attach to a cycle shaped cell. This is why Africans suffer from Cycle Cell Anemia versus their European counterparts.

Evolution would suggest that DNA changed so drastically that Humans were once fish. This I totally disagree with. Yet some give examples of adaptation OR cross-breeding as proof of spontaneous DNA restructuring aka evolution.

Your thoughts please.

in the dream i was in the mall and i was with family and one of my family members ask to take my 1 year old child upstairs (i could not see any of the family members faces) so they left me downstairs to go upstairs. They went up the escalator and i heard someone scream my name and i came running and one of the family member said nathan (my son) i said what he fell on the escalator. I was like what he has a broken leg, arm or broke the skin or something and one of the ladys said no he is dead and i woke up...What does this all mean

After hearing from so many men with wives who hate sex it makes me want to test drive a woman before marriage more than ever. I know several men who have wives who made every excuse to avoid having sex with them from the honeymoon onward. I don't think it's worth the wait to have this fate befall me.

As you can see, I never really went to church. I went to church once and that's because we had to go so we could do my grandfather's funeral. But when I was 11 or 12, I was going to give my virginity up to my first boyfriend or the first person who asked. Then a song called "S.E.X" by Lyfe Jennings came out. Its message was to think about it before you give your virginity away. But I'm not going to give myself when I get married. I'm going to give myself to someone who loves and respects me. But it is just weird. Most of my friends are non-virgins and they were just like me. They gave up theirs when to their first boyfriend or to the first cute guy that ask. But when I decided to do the same thing, that song came out. Now all my friends regret it. Was that a message from him? Even though I don't think I was baptized, he really cares about me?

A Blue Screen of Death (also known as a stop error, BSOD or bluescreen) is an error screen displayed by certain operating systems, most notably Microsoft Windows, after encountering a critical system error which can cause the system to shut down to prevent damage. Bluescreens can be caused by poorly written device drivers, faulty memory, a corrupt Registry, or incompatible DLLs. Bluescreens have been present in all Windows-based operating systems since Windows 3.1; OS/2 and MS-DOS suffered the Black Screen of Death, and early builds of Windows Vista displayed the Red Screen of Death after a boot loader error.

The term "Blue Screen of Death" originated during OS/2 pre-release development activities at Lattice Inc, the makers of an early Windows and OS/2 C compiler. During porting of Lattice's other tools, developers encountered the stop screen when NULL pointers were dereferenced either in application code or when unexpectedly passed into system API calls. During reviews of progress and feedback to IBM Austin, the developers described the stop screen as the Blue Screen of Death to denote the screen and the finality of the experience.

I connect my linksys wrt54g router to my computer and dsl modem all the lights are on but my computer cant connect to the internet.Im using windows vista and it says on the box vista is supported could it be that when i connect it says connect 3. Its connecting wired but i want to hook up my wii to the internet and need it to connect to the computer first. For some reason, when I opened internet explorer today my taskbar changed. Now, the only buttons it has is back, forward, refresh and stop. It no longer has the "home" button or the star for the "favorites" button.... why is this and how do I get them back?

Do you think you should have had your kids at a younger age or older age? I'm deciding on when to have kids. Obviously, I know that its different for each person...but just want to see what most people think about having kids in general. For eg.
