I don't like them because a lot of them seem strictly against Mexicans, basically racist. I talked to a minuteman before, which he ended up picking up a new perspective at illegal immigration and started blaming strictly the employers for illegal immigration.

They mean well but are taking the wrong approach. Like they are misguided.

I wouldnt go as far as to call thme heros but they are definatley not an embarasement.

I respect the fact that they have beleifs that they are willing to actually put action to and not just sit around and complain like most people do. They are actually doing something about what they think is wrong.

I beleive as long as they dont break the law (ie start shooting illegals) they are doing a service for america.

They are not an embarrassment, in my opinion. They are standing up as true Americans for what they believe in, and should be proud that they are attempting to secure our country in their own way. "Heroes" is a little too much, though. I save that word for those who have given the ultimate price for the security of our country, sacrificing their comfort, their families, their lives, no questions asked, all for the sake for us to get on here and have the freedom to question our government.

Not heros but certainly far from an embarrassment. I'm glad they're there helping enforce the laws our politicians refuse to obey. We should be embarrassed for not helping them and should force the government to obey it's own laws.

Far better it is to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs even though checkered by failure, than to rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy nor suffer much because they live in the gray twilight that knows neither victory nor defeat.
Do what you can, with what you have, where you are.
They are heroes!

HEROES! someone's gotta do the job. the government doesn't seem to want to enforce their own laws. what's wrong with the laws being enforced?

and i've spoken with them. they have a high regard for human dignity, and go way out of their way to make it all go smoothly.

I don't think they are either. They are taking a stand based on their beliefs that they feel is good for the country. Even if you do not agree with their belief it is good for people to stand up for their beliefs.
