It seems contradictory, but I've heard it used before. What is some use in context?

Apathetic desire means such desire in which someone is not interested in or enthusiastic about anything. This word is often used for showing disapproval.

It's a play on words that's used to describe a sort of love that's worn out by falsehood or boredom.
And if not love, some other sort of emotion or feeling towards someone or something.
It's far more complicated that that, of course, the ideas go all the way into the psyche, but that's as deep as a regular old 162-IQ can get, :)

A lack of desire, like when an old couple in bed making love, shes asks "are you done yet?", and he says "ive been done, was that not enough?... good night woman". She ignores him and finishes herself. its not always a bad thing
