Breaking news that Oscar Peterson has passed in Toronto. He founded the legendary Oscar Peterson Trio his legacy runs from 1925 to 2007 gone but not forgotten. Rest in our Lord's peace Maestro Peterson.

Yes, I heard the sad news too. There was a tribute program on CBC earlier this evening [FM Radio 2] and I am sure there will be more in the coming weeks. An awfil loss.
