I now have to wear a suit to work. I have a few but I have put on some pounds since I last wore them. The suits are in great condition, but they fit a bit tight around my tummy. Can a tailor somehow alter the suit one size bigger? I'm a size 44 and the jackets are size 42. Can this be done?

I am a shy person, and have never acted before. However, I have a burning desire inside me to 'have a go' and dream of doing stagework. How can I get the confidence to get up on that stage??? I could be totally rubbish at it, but I am hoping that my shyness will disappear when I am another character. Any tips would be much appreciated. Thanks!

I fell in love with someone who was my perfect match. He was funny and exciting and fun to be around. For 2 yrs., we enjoyed each others company and couldn't stand to be apart. We wrote each other love notes, gave each other surprises, played jokes on each other, laughed til our cheeks hurt....He waited on me hand and foot, knew my every need before I did, and could read my mind. He was like a male version of myself...my soulmate.
Then, we moved in together. After 2 yrs., I have discovered a bad temper. I have discovered a manipulative and controlling side of him that he NEVER let on to me previously. I have discovered lies that were told to me. I have met his men friends who hint around to a past of gambling, lying, and womanizing. I knew he could be a flirt, but only with me. He lied about his age and his education. He has been married twice. First one ran off with another man and 2nd one caught him talking to me. He claims she was addicted to Oxycottin.

I've noticed that the new Nikon DSLR like D300 and D3 are using new Nikon made CMOS called EXPEED. I've read from somewhere as well that the previous nikon Digital cameras are using Sony's made censor. I've always asked the Nikon shops why Nikon, who reputed to make good Cameras doesn't produce their own Censor, and the answer I've always got was that there's no need to as it is better to buy what other manufacturers are good at making and already spent loads of money researching on it already than developing themselves. Here we are the EXPEED. What do you think?

i keep getting e-mails from abbey national and natwest saying my bank account has been blocked on-line and to click on a link to reactivate it with my details. the e-mails don't address me by name, only dear client. they give a phone number which i rang and it doesn't exist. i don't belong to any of these banks so i ignored the e-mails. i was wondering if this is a scam to fool people into handing over bank details, has anyone else has had them and how can i stop recieving them?

I have 2 cats and 2 litter boxes in my place...

The one cat pees and everything is fine. the other cat pees and it just turns the litter dark. So when i go to scoop it up nothing happens.

Any clue as to why my one cat's pee doesn't clump. Same diet, same litter?

I read something about it in the Wall Street Journal a few years ago. I think it had something to do with the word "white" and the image of Bing Crosby.

I looked in Yahoo music and there are versions of the song by Babyface, Al Green, BeBe and CeCe Winans, Ella Fitzgerald, Johnny Mathis, Louis Armstrong, Mahalia Jackson, Otis Redding, the Supremes, and of course the all-time classic doo-wop version by Clyde McPhatter and the Drifters.
